The High Calling in Christ Jesus
I believe understanding Revelation and end time events is essential to hear the high calling in Christ Jesus.
The beginning of the Book of Revelation tells us that blessed is he who reads and believes the writings in Revelation. How can you believe something you don't understand? And to believe it is to not argue about it, but to open one's heart to knowledge from God. He alone can reveal it to you. You have no need that any man teach you, for God shall guide you in all things.
To understand the partial, secret, non-imminent, pre-tribulational rapture of the Bride of Christ is to be in it. The bible is clear that only those that know of, watch for, and believe that the Rapture will occur will be in it. To not understand or know of it is to not watch for it. And to not watch for it is to not be in it, and to enter into the tribulational period where one must be martyred to be in the Bride. I say it is easier now to open one's heart and understanding to God, to let him reveal these things to you through the scripture, than to go into the tribulation and have to give one's life to be in the Bride.
To be in the Bride of Christ is to be in the best possible position in God's kingdom. For all eternity! I say go for it. The offer is open to all who will simply believe.
Here is a little story I like to tell:
Picture the consumation of the age. And we are all gathered at the wedding supper of the Lamb. There is a huge table in heaven and everyone is there, including the angels. On this table is a huge feast, wonderful music is playing, the fellowship is fantastic, there is no more crying, and you are so happy to be there. You look down toward the head of the table and see Jesus sitting there. And beside him is his bride. He leans over and whispers something in her ear. She giggles. You wonder what they are talking about. But you don't really care - you are just so happy to have made it and are here.
Now here's what I say - wouldn't it be better to be that one sitting beside Jesus into who's ear he is whispering; and after the supper, to go into the secret garden all alone with him; to be in the most intimate place possible; for all eternity?

I have a question...
Are you saying that Jesus is going to pick out a wife from the whole body of believers-the church?
The church isn't just a woman-it's all the believers from the past, the present, and the future.
